I did the iPhone 13 deal with visible last year. Note that for eSIM you must activate service on the device you bought. They were also a PITA regarding unlock. I activated the phone on their service and then moved the service to another iPhone. The iPhone 13 never unlocked and customer service was not helpful at all. I then used the iPhone 13 another line for 60 days and that apparently didn't count either since it wasn't the line the phone was purchased on. Overall if you want an unlocked phone make sure you use it on the original account for which you purchased it for 60 continuous days after activation.

But be aware since it is a Verizon subsidiary it is just a sim unlock - the bootloader lock (OEM unlock) remains greyed out... had this experience with a pixel 9a I got from visible.

$425 plus taxes, $465 total. Visible indeed includes all taxes/fees. Service is better too. P10Pro is not much of an upgrade from the standard P10. Too late for me to return but I think this is a better deal.

Did it show the $60 amount after you activated? My cb ws supposed to be $40. The order was reported immediately, but the cb showed as $0. I thought it would change to $40 after activation, but after two days, it's still showing as $0.

i forgot the order in which it came up but all i know is it shows $60. i ordered 11/26 but i didn't activate until 12/9.

Day 60 should be about here for some of the early orders/activations on this deal. I hope to start seeing reports of devices unlocking. My day 60 won't be until Feb 6th though, as I waited a bit before activating.

Day 60 passed on January 26 for me. Phone still locked. Chat-person has escalated the issue. I was told that I would receive an email within an hour, but of course that did not happen.
Note that Visible proudly states that it has no phone number--chat is the only support option.

Thanks for this reply, but not what I wanted to hear! How are you verifying lock status? Did you try another eSIM, or checking "OEM unlocking" in developer options?

"OEM unlocking" is grayed out.

Also, at one point the auto-chat did correctly detect my Google Pixel 10 and display its information. It said that the phone was locked even though the schedule to unlock was 1/26/2026.

Activated on 12/2, still hasn't unlocked. Support confirmed it should have auto unlocked. They created a case and said they would provide an update in 3-5 days. Other people on reddit are reporting the same issue.

Thanks for this data point as well. So that's 2 so far that haven't unlocked, and nobody reporting a successful unlock. Not looking good!

I ordered a physical SIM so I can swap to that after (or IF) the Pixel unlocks. They sent it FedEx Priority Overnight in the same size box they ship phones in. Very wasteful!

Same here. Expected unlock data is 1/31/2026, but status is still Locked.

They also changed unlock policy in January: now Visible requires 365 days of paid service to unlock any phone purchased from them.

Visible locks any smartphone you purchase through Visible for 365 days. Your smartphone will unlock upon request after 365 days if you meet the following conditions:

  1. You purchased the smartphone on or after the 1/20/2026 (Effective Date).
  2. You activated the smartphone more than 365 days ago.

    1. Note: This means you have an active plan on your phone, whether it's an upgrade or a new line.
  3. The device has at least 365 days of paid service.

    1. Note: If you stop paying for service, your progress toward the 365-day requirement pauses. It will resume once you reactivate your account and continue until you reach a total of 365 paid days of service.
  4. There was ordinary usage of the smartphone in compliance with our Terms of Service
  5. Nobody reported the smartphone as lost or stolen.
  6. There are no signs of fraud with your account or the smartphone.

I activated December 5. Not unlocked although it's been 60 days. Contacted them through chat and they said that it would unlock February 5. We will see.
