If you have a Pi-hole you can still block ads on Disney+, which means if you watch Hulu through Disney+ you can block ads on Hulu as well.

This can change at any time, like it did for Peacock, but it has been working like a champion for a couple years now.

Having experience with Hulu with ads, it's definitely worth it to pay a little more for no ads.
They go a little overboard.
Sometimes the ads were nearly as long as the show I was trying to watch.

I currently get the $7 off with amex bringing my current cost down to $13 a month. If I use this promo, would I still get the Amex credit?
That's only for like three months right? Not every month forever?

Seems to be a good deal, but I'm torn on if I switch. I currently have a Legacy package that has Disney+ premium, ESPN+ and Hulu (commercials only on Hulu) for $24.99 with $10 back from Amex monthly. I could switch to this to save $100 over next year, but if I switch off this Legacy plan, I can't get it back in future.
I have this deal as well and I have yet to find a compelling reason to leave it behind.

I had the $7.00/month offer. I signed up for it. Can always cancel if not what I expected.
I have that $7 OFF per month AMEX offer, but it says it's per Calendar year.
So we'll only get it in DEC and then it ends? Am I reading it wrong?
the total amount of statement credits for qualifying purchases will not exceed $7 per month (for a total of $84 in statement credits per calendar year) per enrolled Card Account.

Paired with the AMEX BCE $7 streaming credit, bringing this down to $7.99/mo, I could NOT resist…

The ADs aren't too frequent or too annoying in my opinion. It's a bit hard to justify the $15 monthly price for the AD FREE version. I'll gladly jump on the $1 a month with ADs Hulu deal if it pops up this Black Friday again. Some years they even included Disney+ with ADs for an extra $2 a month. So, Hulu and Disney+ with ADs for $3 a month is a deal in my opinion.
Are you joking? Hulu and Disney+ are BY FAR the biggest offenders when it comes to having the most intrusive and excessive ads of any streaming service…

Agreed. Hulu feels like there's an ad every 5 minutes.

Does anyone know if this is in 4k? I know the ad supported one is only 1080p.

Maybe Disney read the $5 Slick Deals post with all the complaints about the commercials as part of the deal and decided to throw us a bone, lol. Honestly I had the $19.99 bundle and cancelled not too long ago because I have been having issues redeeming the Disney+ Gift Cards. This was slightly enough to drag me back as well as a toddler with a sad face for the last month.
If you're willing to go a little out of the way for it(and have the basic equipment for it), then any modern tv can be hooked up to a laptop. Just find any of the illegal streaming sites (they're not too hard to find), along with a browser that supports adblock, and then you'll have a bastardized streaming service. Every streaming site deserves a big middle finger with all this ad mumbo jumbo as well as a never ending price increases.

Can you add $2.99 HBO on top of this. With the $3 a month plan last year they required the full $16/mo sub as an add on

My annual subscription for Disney+ with no ads renewed 2 weeks ago that I paid in full. I canceled because I was going to signup under another email and it told me I had access until next November. I called them and asked them to prorate the refund, she processed it as of today. Once I got off of the phone I logged back into the app with my existing email and the $15 offer was in my account so I didn't even have to use a different email.

Hulu wasn't recognizing me once I signed back up. I had to go into Disney+ on the web, manage account and then under "your other services" Hulu should be listed, click there to activate.

Crazy that this is considered a deal and everyone is okay with it, then we complain about inflation. Yet here we are.

I have the no ads disney and hulu and tried cancelling and it made me the offer, but only for 3 months.
Seems I'm going to have to switch to another email to get the full 12 months
