I don't blame you, they're not for everyone. I'm a really big guy and Superfeet help stabilize my gait and cut down on my foot, knee and back pain. If I was light enough to be able to wear $40 shoes, I wouldn't bother with insoles either.

Greens are high arches. I hate hate hate spending this much for essentially foam pads, but (grumble) they really do help and are much better and stiffer than like a fifteen dollar insert

Like many here, thought $50+ was extreme for insoles, but I literally couldn't snowboard more than 30 mins without my arches cramping up on me, and was desperate.

I tried a bunch of the "premium" support insoles, and they helped a little, until I got the Superfeet Blues. It was like night and day. I can board all day with these and not feel any pain.

Obviously, feet are different and YMMV, but for me, these are well worth the price and have held up for 4 years.

So are custom medical insoles. It's not about the cushion so much as it is about the harder arch support underneath. My podiatrist recommends greens for most people if they cannot afford customs.

I use Tread Labs Pace Insoles which is more cost efficient long term since their system has replaceable tops that get discounted when you bundle. Check it out if you're looking for some insoles

Never had plantar fascitis in my life (45 play basketball) until now.

I have no idea what type of feet I have lol. I thought I had standard ft not flat, not a high arch , not the premium feet.
Should I try these and if so why are my feet so sexy?

Though I'd check eBay first for open box or worn once returns for potentially better pricing.

And for those who don't know this - don't assume that your skate size is the right size for you, I bought Ds originally which correspond with my skate's length but the arch was under my heel and I ended up with an F that fits my arch and had to be trimmed for length and slightly for width.

Remove the insoles which come installed in the shoe. Sometimes they're glued in, but with some force they should pull right out.

Green probably. I have pretty high arches and also have the yellow ones in my hockey skates. I have green ones that still support that are years old, but the yellow ones don't have as much support.
I've recommended superfeet to my patients for the last 25 years. I have a lot of nurse patients that stand for hours on hard concrete floors at the hospitals all day and have a lot of feet pain. The other thing you might check out is a pro-stretch foot stretcher on amazon. Tight calves are often one of the main problems with sore feet. Between the two, hopefully you'll have it licked.

Been waiting for a deal. Wife had foot issues with exercise but once I got her these, significantly helped and now able to exercise without issues.

There's a reason arches exist as a shape—they don't require support. Try walking barefoot more often. This practice engages and strengthens the small, intrinsic muscles in your feet that may have weakened due to wearing supportive shoes.

I bet that the primary cause of your plantar fasciitis wasn't due to insufficient arch support insoles in your shoes. To reverse your condition, you must identify the root cause of your problem.

These are great for being on concrete for 9 hours. Use the green but going to try the Orange for when I drive forklift
