I get that you have more access like you can boot up the machine or whatever. I'm just interested in low latency gaming with reasonably low compression artifacts.
I guess it's more secure? Maybe?
Also, it doesn't pass through webcams, so if you need to be in a meeting on camera, you'll have to figure out a different way to join.

It installs as a "video driver and monitor" and outputs directly to your remote stream. Otherwise, using a kvm device you are already add latency because the existing video card is rendering the frame, then to physical HDMI output and then the kvm has to recompress and then transmit.

Finger bot. Hopefully your power button is in a convenient place.
Ya.not sure what to do about the webcam bit. Webcam facing a remote screen of the computer your at? Lol

Ooh I didn't know this existed. I'm currently using the other comet version to use my old laptop which has a broken key on the keyboard. It's a good machine, but the lack of a working keyboard makes it no longer usable while traveling.
Out of curiosity, is the response faster with tailscale, wire guard VPN (over a brume 2) or with their app? I do see a pretty big performance drop with the app, as it seems to have to go through their gateway.
Moonlight and apparently parsec.
Really remote kvm like these are geared toward remote management, or replacing the need to be physically in front of a computer. It's really hard to see bios errors or ram errors, or even if you have a multi boot setup, but unable to select that option as it occurs before bootup.
In theory if the kvm supported keyboard shortcuts, you could get one of these and control like 4 other pcs
