as long as you are not a gamer you'll be fine
there is most definitely higher latency, lag and delay than cable internet
but once a TV stream gets going you won't know the difference
sites with a lot of elements (like slickdeals) are a bit slower because of all the connections
When I had Tmobile 2 years ago for this - I started at 300mb download. As of this year and this month same house same plan my download speeds are 1gig.
So very dependent on if they have improved the network around you!
you can find out how far away your towers are on this website
https://www.signalboost
my towers are just under a mile away
I do NOT the speeds y'all are talking about, maybe 200mbps max but that's fine
the connection time/latency/lag is a lot higher than cable internet
12/4 - submitted rebate for $300 prepaid card
Didn't get $70 credit on first bill. Chatted w/ support, they said it would apply to second bill. It didn't. Chatted again last week, now they say it's coming on the third bill. Don't believe them.
Oh, and as of today my rebate status shows as "not approved" because "plan does not qualify".
WTF happened here? Took screenshots of everything when I signed up. Should have known better. Not even going to bother with chat. Just going to escalate however I can through CFPB, FCC, etc.
I've read that T-Mobile just offers $300 in bill credit, which I don't want since I'd have to stick around. I'm going to request $300 back to my debit card, plus another $70 for the bill credit they never gave me.
Absolutely disgraceful by T-Mobile. They know what they're doing and they know most people will give up.
This is going to be a major pain in the a**. Trying to prepare everything and get organized with my screenshots and info. Glad I've documented everything. Going to contact them on X tomorrow but more importantly going to file a complaint with the BBB.
I saw on reddit that people got the rebates re-processed within 10 days, but you have to be insistent if they say it'll take another 10-14 weeks. FU, I already waited 9 weeks, they know that's BS. Just more stalling and lying.
I will NOT accept a $300 bill credit. The rebate was for a $300 prepaid card. That's their scam - most people give up on the rebate, those who fight accept the bill credit which means you have to stick around longer instead of paying their competitors.
How they can get away with this sh*t on such a massive scale is astounding. Shame on all the reps who knowingly lie to customers about rebates and bill credits being on the way while knowing full well that's a complete lie. Then they lie some more about "system issues" or other garbage.
