This is a fantastic monitor. What I really like about it is the built in kvm. I can switch between my Mac and Windows machines easily, using the same keyboard and mouse.

Been trying to find a good deal on this one. The new one does not go below $1499. The challenge with buying refurbished is the 90 day warranty ; monitor cannot be repaired ; mixed reviews on the refurbished items from outlet. That said the monitor itself has great reviews.

I got this about a year ago for $1449 (new, with 3 year advance exchange warranty), and it is awesome, the ppi is more than fine. A great choice for a single monitor setup when you don't have room for more than one monitor, there is so much room for activities!

Now just waiting patiently for something with this size and resolution in OLED...

I bought this last week. The box, monitor and accessories/cables are practically brand new. I guess this is YMMV.
Also stacked with the Amex $100 earnback with purchase of $500+ purchase at Dell.

Been tracking this monitor for months. The lowest I've seen it new was $1350 from Adorama for a 24hr sale. Im going to roll the dice with this refurb and hope I get a good unit. Thanks OP

That's exactly why I mentioned it in my post and it's the risk the buyer assumes. The gap between market price and refurbished is ~ $600, so the real question is whether that savings justifies the risk.
