I am not sure if there is a big difference between the 2, but I can say from experience if you don't use it as a standard shampoo... you rub it into your dry hair and let it sit for a while before you step into the shower... after only 3 applications your hair is mighty darker than at the beginning.
Anything Just For Men would burn you like hell, to the extent that you would get blisters, if you try to use it on your beard. Stay away from this company's products, based on personal experience, and just check the reviews on Amazon.

You may have an allergy to it. I've been using it for years on my face and beard, I've never experienced burning or blistering.

If you had actually read the directions, you'd see it's common to be allergic to hair dyes and you are supposed to test it in case you are one of those people.

I used to be able to use the dye, then eventually developed an allergy, too bad it worked well. I've tried the beard shampoo and no issues nock wood, I have a spotty beard. I'll try this thanks OP
