With that said I did an analysis of your comment with my AI researcher I call Roger (gpt 5.1)
And while it said that you were on to something with the efficiency and battery life of the 255U, It stated several times over that the OLED deal is a much better purchase because of
- Arc graphics instead of purely integrated
- 258v having 5 to 10% better performance overall
- OLED screen being much nicer
- The RAM on the OLED being 5% faster
It said the 255u would be better for traveling and in some edge cases.But wanted to provide Rogers analysis before we took this any further.
