This is not bad... BUT, just be aware of what you are buying.
For 1.5 years I have been saying... the slowest you should go is a G99 CPU. Per Notebookcheck...
Average Benchmarks Mediatek Helio G99 → 100% n=14

Average Benchmarks Mediatek Dimensity 6400 → 95% n=14

So this CPU is not as fast as a G99. But almost their. Everything else looks good. Personally I am not a fan of Samsung and with the AppCloud scandal I would stay away.
90hz is only OK, pen included is GOOD. Screen is GOOD. Note that this is a 12.1" tablet (IMHO... it is too big but most people want big???).
This is a NEW model that has a WEAK CPU and a decent screen with 8GB of RAM (so it should be smooth enough). Lenovo rates this tablet as a budget friendly option... but to me it means... their weakest tablet for 2025/2026.
For the price, I think this is a pretty good deal.
At the same time.... please realize that this tablet is faster and costs $72.00... (not much faster but faster)
https://www.amazon.com/LincPlus-A...142&sr=8-3

And yes... it runs Android 13 and no more updates BUT it is still faster. And having Android 13 vs 15 and having zero bloatware... I bet this is about 8-9% faster.

The Lenovo product description says (twice) that the pen is included, but no case appears to be included. Amazon sells a package with this tablet, the pen, and a useful case for $200. The case protects the screen and holds the stylus and is probably worth $10-$15.

I feel like you have posted this same information in the past and I didn't believe you. I thought having 8gigs of ram would make the tablet fast but you are correct. The processor is the bottleneck in these tablets. Believe this guy! ☝️. I didn't believe him in the past and I learned my lesson.

This has more features than the Samsung A-series, but less speed than the Samsung S-series.

Actually, I recently did a bunch of research into tablets in this range to get one for my son. Depending on the site, most of them say the 6400 tests better than the g99. The big difference(which I don't think matters in this deal) is that it's newer and supports 5g lte where the g99 only supports 4g. Basically, it performs about the same(ish) as a g99 and it's newer technology. We ended up ordering my son one of these for Christmas over a generic g99 one on Amazon because it'll get some updates and my wife felt better about it being a little more future proof. If it was for me, I would have bought the g99.
I think the bigger screen and newer processor are worth the extra money if that's what you're looking for. I'll have better real world data after Christmas. One thing to be aware about is that this tablet is super new and very few cases(especially kid ones) are available. I had to order one with bumpers from Ali

This level of tablet is intended for light use. Like youtube, writing, art etc. Its not meant to run games or other intensive apps.

I've seen this response on multiple tablet reviews, from a random chinese tablet with 65 reviews and very cheap with multiple typos in their description and images. Sketches me out wouldn't purchase for that reason. But yes ram actually doesn't matter for speed until you hit the bottleneck and cpu most of the time is going to be the bottleneck for tablets since apps autoclose and little multitasking is done.
