for me the grinder and saw are shwoing $3 delivery, with stock levels in the 2, 3, 4s at most stores - the router is available at only a couple of stores.

Yes, but if you haven't noticed Lowe's is clearing out their FLEX brand. Warranty is only good if the company is around.

Many rumors also saying Lowes would make Flex online only next year, thus these store clearances by year end. Flex is also not Lowe's exclusive like Kobalt. Many authorized retailers including Amazon sell Flex. Flex is owned by Chervon who also owns Skil, EGO and couple other brands. They also make some Kobalt tools for Lowe's. Flex is their professional line. Chervon is not going anywhere soon.
