I've gamed on an Asus gaming IPS for ten years, I'll take it over the "gaming" VA panel I bought any day. If you're not getting caught up specs, just use whatever you think looks better.

Not really. Depends on your use. If you're only using it for entertainment/gaming, VA is great. Just that it's not very suitable for productivity like photo/video editing or working with documents/coding.

I hear this all the time but I have the Alienware 34 ultra wide OLED. It constantly asks me to run the anti burn in and I do. It's been years without issues.

I have used VA monitors before, so I am familiar with their performance, but I still returned this one.
I am not sure if I received a defective unit, but the ghosting or smearing was extremely bad, even when set to the fastest response time.
I don't understand how this monitor has a 4.4/5 rating.

I received the 27GS60QC-B for free when I ordered the 34GX90SA-W for $850 plus tax and a rebate.
The 27GS60QC-B is also a VA panel, but its ghosting and smearing are acceptable.
