this felt great when i was in it in store - the seat was comfy and the back very supportive and felt like it hugged me - but cant justify spending this much knowing i could hopefully find a used one lol

at this point, this chair is no longer worth the price. it had good ergonomic ideas 20 years ago but it has been surpassed. check out the amount of configurations the libernovo omni dynamic has. the embody doesnt even have a head rest. most chairs now have headrests but it's not highly adjustable. often it would push my head too far foward straining my neck. im not saying the libernovo has better construction quality, i don't really know but i'm talking about the number of adjustments you can do.

So, the base price of the Embody Gaming is $2,045.00.

When I go to checkout, before entering SAVE5, it displays:
$1431.50. "30% off."
Total Savings: -$613.50.

After adding SAVE5, it displays:
$1359.92. "34% off. You saved an extra 5%."
Total Savings: -$685.08

Is the SAVE5 promo bugged? It seems to not be using 35% as the discount but instead is using 33.5%.

That's how percentages work when companies are trying to steal money from you. They are applying the 5% after the 30% discount has been applied. So you are getting 5% off $1431.50…not 5% off $2045.00. Don't spend $1,500 on a chair.

Over the years I accumulated alot of money in my HSA account. I was able to use HSA funds to purchase a HM Embody last year and have no regrets. Just had to get a doctor's note confirming I have backpain, but that was easy.

You can get free shipping if the subtotal after the 30% and Save 5% is $1500.

Pick the Embody chair (not gaming chair) and customize it to your liking to get the total over 1500, then use code "FREESHIPPING" to get free shipping.

no im not a chair expert. i just saw the ad for the chair i mentioned. it's the most configurable chair i've ever seen. i actually envisioned something like it before because i never got a chair with the right spine shape for me. so seeing this chair have a spine configuration was crazy. also of course my neck been hurting from all the head rests that poke too far forward, this one also has adjustable depth for headrest. whoever made this knows what they're doing.

Their warranty is kick ass and is an actual worth while warranty. That's the only reason I can justify the price. I got a fully loaded Aeron for about 1K a couple of years ago and accidentally broke part of it. I had an entirely new chair sent out as a warranty replacement free of charge. HM also ships them fully assembled.

hsa is not free money. it's supposed to be there for actual medical expenses that you might need later. instead you put 1500 into a chair with no headrest. lol.
