Very janky game that feels more like a tech demo (and not a very good one) than a full fledged game. It feels cool at first, but very quickly devolves into a wave shooter. None of the upgrades really feel like they give you any sort of advantage, and the bigger fights later in the game are an absolute drag, because it's just wave after wave.
When i started playing you feel like a tank and there's no crouch, but later on you can upgrade with dash, and walk and run faster. Dash helps you get the heck out of a bad situation. I enjoy the combat scenes and have played dozens of FPS in my life. I think they do a great job of integrating a story and purpose into the shooting.
Great deal. Is the game janky and limited? Yes, it's a budget game made in Unreal 5 engine. But it shows a real love of the movie, same as Terminator: Resistance from same people. Plus you get an achievement for shooting someone in the crotch.

I disagree. It ran a but rough on my steam deck, but instead of messing with the settings, I just moved over to my gaming PC where it ran great. It did have some wonky graphics issues with little things like hair texture, but I thought they did a pretty good job. Upgrades very much make a difference. You dont feel like the impenetrable walking tank in the beginning as you took damage to small arms fire, but that gradually changes with the upgrades as you progress and ultimately makes you an unstoppable cyborg cop you would expect.
Remember, this is not a AAA $70 title. If I remember correctly, it released for $30. I think that is pretty fair. I picked it up when it was just over $10 and was pretty satisfied upon completion. I even kept it installed for another new game + playthrough, but got distracted by other games.
This game is a very mediocre shooter by itself, but it is a must play for any RoboCop fan. $3 is a no brainer.
