I've had this happen before buying gift cards from Costco/Sam's club. They flagged it as suspicious activity thinking my account was compromised and I had to chat them to allow me to purchase.

are the gift cards emailed to you- as sams is closed today ? just created a Nintendo account - whats next add to cart - than buy 8 gift cards at 50 each to pay for it inputting codes on the nintendo site ? im pushing 60 yrs old please explain it out with the most basic steps please ? can you buy the cards today and order today with the stores closed or must you go into the store and buy the cards im assuming they must be nintendo game cards? thank you for directions up front

You are shelling out 500 in gift cards -- what happens to the 100$ off it stays on a nintendo card or in the nintendo website account you created ? IM missing something here as the saved 100.oo after inputting all 5card codes after shipped taxes etc would leave yah with close to 75.00 credit on the nintendo website versus you getting the 75 back to pay in cash ? If there is no way to get the saved portion of the credit back (100-taxes based off zip ciode) than that 75$ credit stays in the nintendo account ? if just buying the console itself does it drop down to 350+ tax making it so you can just buy 4 cards and pay for it not worrying about having extra put into the nintendo account? please advice thank you for the advice & direction as it will help our family a great deal when everything is inflated except for our pay checks-

Yes gift cardsare emailed within an hour. You then load each one into your nintendo online acct. I just did it all good.

It worked. It's a pain to enter all the 25 x $20 codes but I saved $100 in about 30 minutes.
