Got the 2x 120XP flex-head set (3/8" + 1/4") recently and they're some of the smoothest, lowest-backdrag ratchets I've ever received out of the box - pretty happy with them.

I got the 100 tooth black Husky set recently (5 ratchets total) too, and many of them took a good deal of 'tuning' (disassembly, clipped springs, better lube) before they started feeling as good & light on backdrag as the Gearwrench ratchets came from the factory.

The 120xp was stronger than MAC, SK (usa), Williams, Snappy....everyone.

A good product is a good product.... have it be Gearwrench or SnapOn and in this case, this ia great product and at a laughable fraction of what a set of something like SnapOn would cost. Hard to TD that.

I would not but a standard ratchet. Locking flex head gives a lot more versatility that straight ratchets.
