These have a very, very thin midsole to help people transition into minimalist shoes like the vibram 5 finger shoes or even running barefoot. It came out during the minimalist craze. If you're expecting a cloud like cushion, these aren't the shoes for yah.

Wearing them right now. Had to look twice to make sure. I don't need another pair but I love Nike free shoes so these feel great to me. This is worth it.

I have gone through prob 10 pairs of the 2010 Nike Free 3.0 shoes. I only use them for when i'm traveling, they pack well, and for low mileage work, I have no complaints.

Hoping these will fit that same use case.

Hate buying shoes online with my wide a** feet lol. Can anyone comment on how these fit for people with wide feet?

They pickup gravel very easily in the groove. You can pop them out with a stick but it's a little nuisance.
Very comfortable and light. love them

Been running in Nike free runs for 10+ years. Not into "barefoot" running, but these definitely have aided in getting my legs and feet stronger than they ever have been before a shoe that allowed all the muscles and connective tissues to be utilized/challenged in training. Made a huge difference in overall gains/speed/injury prevention for me once I switched over from "cushioned stability" training shoes.

If you have a Nike outlet near you these are also on clearance. A few days ago they had extra 40% off and it came out to 30$. Not sure if the sale is still going on though

Nike Free (w/ FlyKnit & FlyWire) are a sock-like fit active shoe, rather lightweight & flexible. But they're minimal in rebound cushioning (relative to the Zoom/similar) & less support (vs. more rigid heal/outsole offerings) but the taut foam conforms well to the foot & is springy & relatively comfortable. Nike Free always feel more like a fitted glove/garment vs. others...

Here's a silly question. I like walking around my community barefoot (grass, pavement, asphalt, whatever), would these be more comfortable for me than sneakers?

This will be a perfect fit. I have wide ass and flat feet too, and have been loving them.

These might be, I loved them for running, as you can feel the ground more, if that's what you are after

I just got mine today and they are so tight. I did half size up and I think a full size up might not even be enough... especially with wide feet
