LifeLast DuraGard: This is described as a 100% solid polyurethane coating, and polyurethane is not a type of PFAS chemical.

7L is about a 7.5" cube, so, maybe 3 toddler pairs of shoes.
1L = the size of a 1L bottle of soda, which i can barely cram a shoe. So 6 shoes very approx

Another way" 1 shoe = 11" x 4" x 2." = 88 cu in. 7L = 427 cu in, , so 5 shoes.or 2 pairs of 2 shoes + 1 pair of slippers. Thats still substantial.

Or 7/39 is 18% more capacity. I could use that.

The tradeoff is that the 47L is more of a violation of the stated carry-on limits. It'd definitely get you checked on certain international carriers.

This is an excellent price.

I travel internationally about 3 months a year. The major carriers would not be an issue. The cut rate carriers like Spirit (in the US) make their money off of the additional fees, so you do have to be careful on those. I once flew a carrier that weighed each carryon to see if it exceeded the limit including your pack, your purse, etc.... Major carriers see it is about the right size for a carryon and let you thru without making you fit it inside their measurement box.

The external dimensions of the two bags are almost the same and that's what the airlines will check. The difference in capacity is due to the space that the laptop compartment takes up.
The whole things comes down to:
1) Normal elite has 46L main compartment and comes with a Suit packing accessory
2) Plus elite has a laptop compartment that steals some space from the main compartment, reducing it to 39L. It does not come with he suit packing accessory.

It's about an inch taller, which I would say is noticeable.

I already have an away carry on, was thinking of getting another carry on bag anyone have experience with this one specifically or any comparison of both?
I like this one better as a carryon because you can access you stuff easily. This luggage has the best wheel. Almost too good, because it will roll away if the floor is not level.

One carry on luggage costs $195? Expensive, isn't it?
Depend on how often you travel. If you only use it once a year, yes. But I always spend good money on luggage, you don't want it it break on your while on the road. But I also travel weekly

Great deal, I would have bought this if I didn't just pickup the crew spinner a few months ago. This is a great bag to have at this price.

If you want locking wheels the Muji spinner as a lock button under handle area.

I would jump on this if not for: "DuraGuard® coated exterior fabric resists water and stains." Hi likelihood it includes PFAS and other non ideal chemicals.
Ridiculous. Are you eating it?
