Too much without battery imho, if it was the dcf961 "ludicrous" model maybe but not for the dcf900.

No no no. Always get DeWalt XR series. They are brushless and have more power.

This is much bigger and much stronger than the atomic (DCF921).
The atomic is rated for 300/450 and this is rated for 1030/1400 tightening/breakaway.
