Had this headset, constant cut outs made it unusable. I ended up snapping it in two and threw it in the garbage. They all have connection issues. Stay away. I expected better from an original accessory.

I have this headset and have never had any cut out issues, either over Bluetooth or Xbox, so I guess ymmv on QC.
My only gripe is if you use it while charging it has an audible buzz coming through the speakers, but for a sub $100 headset it's a solid buy.

I too have this headset and have never once had a cut off issue. My version is probably one of the first versions though; not a recent purchase.
Did you end up finding another wireless that worked properly? I'm asking because maybe there is some wireless interference in the area that you used it?? Just a though.
In other news about this product, if there's one thing that I hate, it is that when you turn on the headset, it automatically turns on the Xbox... even if you're connecting to Bluetooth to another device. How on earth does that make sense as a programming design choice? I love how these headphones sound so much that I kept them after I got rid of the Xbox. Now I no longer have that problem and very happy with it.
Can attest that I've started experiencing some audio skips when using my headset recently, still trying to figure out if that's related to interference from other signals. YMMV, worked perfect for the last few years though.
The one thing I have to caution about is that the clamp force is a bit high and I'm a little worried about putting undue pressure on the band by trying to stretch it because I'm not sure the band was designed that way. That and the cups sitting directly on my ears does end up causing pain and making it quite hot if I've got them on for 30-40 min or more, so I do have to take breaks more frequently because of it.
The dual channel connection is great though and using the cups as dials is a nice design.

I'm using a Turtle beach stealth 700 now, it has dongle that plugs into the front usb port of the xbox. The connection is solid, no skips or stutters or anything like that. The audio quality on the xbox headset was better tho when it worked and the rotary dials on the xbox headset are nicer too.
For all those saying they never had any issues, you're lucky. i bought a second one and had the same issue. Take a look at this subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/XboxSupp...are_button
