Just moved from pixel to Samsung S25 ultra. I was considering the 9a, but went with Samsung because of their black friday pricing. Granted, it's the flagship, but the quality of phone and photography, as well as customization and UI options is so much better. I've had 4 pixels, and none of them compare to this year's samsung quality. my opinion of course.
Every photography review still cites Samsungs inability to take good pictures of moving objects.

Regular Pixel 9 was the same price just before Pixel 10 came out, so not a good deal IMO
This is a good deal if you use the card. If not Google sells it at

$399. The 9 never was $399 unlocked

I loved the 4a but had issues with the 7a (optical reader). I avoided the 9a because it still uses the optical sensor fingerprint reader. They're fixing it with the 10a, but I wanted a new phone and didn't want to wait any longer. I bought a regular S25 and I like a lot about it, but I'll probably go back to pixel next time. I won't need to upgrade for years though.

I checked my google store account and found the same deal there is running for $399. and they also offer the trade-in of my pixel 6a for $80. So the google store deal seems better for me, then the Amazon one.

You might be able to purchase at the Google Store with the trade-in and then request a price-match against the Amazon sale to get the $50 difference refunded. You can only submit the price-match while the Amazon $349 price is live though.

Damnit, bought 2 at best buy a few days ago and they won't price match until after Cyber Monday which is stupid as the sale would be gone by then and they will say the price needs to be the current price for PM. They also having a 45 dollar restocking fee for activatable device.. Lesson learned: wait until cyber monday before committing a purchase.

:edit: best buy later lowered their price to match amazon's and was then able to price match. so hurray to that, but the hassle of it..

You overpay for questionable service for a year in advance with no refunds, and get a free phone.

Not to mention the fact that the Pixel does not come with all that lovely Samsung OneUI trash bag bloatware.
