This thing is a tank. I have had mine for 5 years now and it still grinds like brand new.

I'd purchased the Cuisinart grinder that was frontpage earlier this week, but the impression I've gotten is this one is better. Canceling the Cuisinart and ordering this.

I've had one of these for about 4 year now. It's great for drip coffee. It does not grind fine enough for espresso.

Ordered this. My Cuisinart died after five years so I'm hoping this is a slight upgrade. Also hoping this one can achieve truly fine enough grinds for espresso but not really expecting it to at this price point.

I've had mine 6 or 7 years now. It's a great grinder for drip coffee. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but not at this price.

How does the warranty work for "used like new" purchases like this. I want to buy but not if it won't come with original warranty

I really like mine as well, great house warming gift. I believe grinding your own beans is the most ROI you get out of coffee. Of course it's a rabbit hole when you look at coffee videos on YT but getting your beans and grinding before you make a cup gets the most flavor.

Edit. It's also conical burr grinders which you don't really get at this price point

I have this grinder and love it but I honestly wouldn't gamble with Amazon resale on a grinder. To say they inspect the items is a stretch, and I wouldnt put it past people to grind something other than coffee in these, like spices, or peanuts thinking peanut butter would come out, and break them.

It's used. You get amazon's return policy, and that's it.

the baratza encore ESP was around $105 used with the same type of amazon resale discount. Would recommend that if you plan on doing espresso as well.

I threw mine in the garbage. Bought it new after a slickdeal. Maybe a bad unit. It would not grind. Minutes later and nothing would come out. Cleaned it. Got the top pump thing. Tried a spritzer. Nothing. I wouldn't even donate it. I got a Baratza Encore and I. Happy with it.
