This looks like the Newegg doorbuster model. I'm just upset I missed that deal because it was cheaper and has more RAM. I was hoping Lenovo would offer a similar deal...

I attempted to get it- logged on at the exact time. Kept getting error messages when putting the computer in my cart and then it was sold out within 30 seconds..

Cyberpunk is an old title that was released 2 years ago. Try actually playing new titles like Doom and Battlefield and they can only run on minimum settings. Basically 8GB VRAM is obsolete out of the box.

I must say this comment makes no sense . Do a little research before you judge a card by how much vram they have .

Better specs but yours is a refurb and also there's a reason there's a ton of Acer refurbs out on the market, poor build quality and poor QA in general.

The refurb comes with a 2 year allstate warranty, and the specs that seem they will probably stay relevant longer.

People mention build quality but I don't really understand what that means? Some people say they have gotten multiple defective legions in a row as well.

This or Legion 5i Ultra 7 255HX 5060 32GB for $1120? Given 5060 v 5070 are both 8GB VRAM, seems the B&H sale may be the better deal, albeit w/ stricter return policy (I believe restocking fee):

5060 is ~10% behind the 5070 on average spread over a 25-game benchmark; so your Legion 5i Ultra link is the better value per $ as you get more RAM and DDR5 RAM is expensive and only rising in cost.

However, If gaming is your primary use case you would want the RTX 5070 for more fps. There are a small handful of games that will utilize more than 16GB system ram (large open world games w/ RTX maxed out; Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, Microsoft Flight Sim, etc) but if you know you are going to play those at max settings I don't think either of these laptops are what you should be looking at. I'd personally be looking for a 5070 Ti laptop as a starting point for that caliber of laptop gaming.
