Too bad SlickDeals operations team didn't post this! I mean SD has made millions of $ off of us over the years, they should be sending out swag or something to us.
I went back and looked at my first deals on SD and it was for a trial coupon of Oscar Myer "Fast Franks" which were all-in-one hot dogs in buns that were microwaveable! Those products haven't been made in 19 years lol. It's been a great run for sure. The HP Touchpad days were probably the craziest that I've seen. Here's to the next 19 years SlickDealers!
OMG....the HP touchpad was PEAK Slickdeals for me!...it was when I knew this site was something special. Bought 6 of those touchpads while driving between the border and New York and Canada.....I remember thinking "No way this deal goes through", but it did...thanks for the memories!

I agree, thanks to all who contribute. Posting deals or posting comments, it all makes a difference. Don't forget to thumbs up a deal you like or buy, it helps the community! Same goes for comments, please thumbs up or down to help!
Weird how many posts in this thread are from accounts that are old enough to drive but have 4 posts, including one in this thread.Ah well, best site in the world to lurk. Also, in before this moves to the lounge.
Multiple accounts for multiple purposes. My other account is old and jacked, but I "retired" it.
You're already thanking them by clicking through their obfuscated links and allowing them to put their referral cookies in your browser instead of a cashback sites
I'm sorry, if you are a true slickdealer, you're checking cash back sites before ordering.. so your assumption might not apply for some of us at least.
Yes all OPs and commenters.. thanks for making it so that I spend less time on Instagram (watching stupid paid ads), and more time on slickdeals learning about new products, amazing deals and lately, watching a lot of paid ads!
To be fair @sam2075 not sure if this is a karma farming post but youre been here for 13 years and in that time, you've actively browsed the site for 1 week, 6 days+ which equals more than ~320 hours actively clicking and browsing the site.and in those 13 years, you've posted 1 deal, made 7 comments, only 1 of those that were helpful and WORST of all, you voted ONLY upvote and downvote 2 TIMES in 13 years! You can easily thank contributors by VOTING a thumbs up on that thread, that literally takes no effort at all. That would help and encourage those contributors much more than this post will ever do.So a new year is around the corner and most of us arent asking you to post deals or become a contributor in that sense but at least, take your own advice and in the future, please take 1 second out of the day to UPVOTE a thread that helped you out, its really that simple. That upvote helps.
Upvotes are meaningless internet points. Deals that aren't deals aren't worth posting.

I loved the touchpad deal and the "price mistake" threads. The deals have gotten really soft lately.
