Easy. Just transfer the sim (or eSIM)

Jumped on the deal. Requires port in from existing T-Mobile plan with a transfer in phone number on a unlocked device ( paid off ) One year of truly unlimited is very good for this price, transfer/activation was done in 15 min, you have to order a SIM kit or can esim connect if your phone has the compatibility

Seems like one of the advantages of us mobile is to "Transport" over to use the AT&T and Verizon networks. This is particularly handy when traveling overseas. I imagine this deal won't allow that.

I see one user says it requires a T-mobile port in, can anyone else verify? I am looking to port from Mint to this if it is possible.

It doesn't require Tmobile portin, you just need to be on their Lightspeed network which is Tmobile network.
If you port from ATT or Verizon, it'll still give you the BF price and work fine. The problem is do you know if Tmobile network works well for you? You're stuck for a year.

This is to use on the T-Mobile network which is dubbed Light Speed. It is far superior in international coverage to ATT and Verizon so for those of you who travel overseas regularly or have plans to, this is a no brainer deal.

I don't think it's saying you need to be an existing T-Mobile customer to take advantage of this deal,.You can port in from any carrier, you just have to select Lightspeed as your network which falls under T-Mobile.
