I had Ai generate this post to help with making it informative and interesting. I checked it's accuracy but the verbiage may be a little more outgoing than I'm accustomed too

I have been wanting to try magnacut and recently went on a deep dive about it. After learning about the importance of hardness I decided to go through a known manufacturer instead of buying used on ebay or reddit (edccarry, knife_swap). I think this is a good deal for the known HRC of the magnacut fixed blade knife and I am waiting on an answer about the Fastball HRC but am assuming it's similar to the Assert/Camp (60-62), so for ~$250 bucks I can compare both and thought others might like this deal too!

Gerber is currently running a Black Friday sale (automatic discount in cart), but it stacks with the 15% off "New Customer" sign-up code. This brings two of their flagship USA-made knives in the premium MagnaCut steel down to entry-level prices.

Usually, it is very hard to find MagnaCut fixed blades or folders under the $150 mark, let alone near $110.

The "Why This Matters" (Heat Treat):
For the steel nerds out there worrying if Gerber ran the MagnaCut too soft—I dug through the Q&A section on their product page. Gerber officially states the HRC is 63-64. This is the optimal hardness for MagnaCut to get that balance of extreme toughness and edge retention. (See screenshot attached for verification).

Pricing Breakdown:

* StrongArm (MagnaCut / 63-64 HRC): MSRP $160 → ~$110.46 after stack.
* Fastball (MagnaCut / Assumed 60-62 HRC): MSRP $160 → ~$114.71 after stack.
* Shipping is Free.

How to get the deal:

1. Open an incognito window (or use a new email) and go to the Gerber site.
2. Wait for the "Unlock 15% Off" pop-up or find the newsletter sign-up at the bottom.
3. Enter your email to get the unique code.
4. Wait for the code. This may take a little while (30 min?)
5. Add the StrongArm MagnaCut or Fastball MagnaCut to your cart.
6. The Black Friday discount applies automatically.
7. Apply your unique 15% email code at checkout.
