I was able to get the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB for $720 after tax by combining a trade-in with EDU pricing through the Samsung app. The website price for the same deal was over $100 more at $832 (before tax).

I don't get it – why would you do a trade-in in this case? The no trade-in offer is too good to miss. If you trade in, you are technically selling your old phone for just {whatever-your-trade-in-value-is} - $440, and the max can only be $700 - $440 = $260 (usually less depending on your old phone), and in your case you are only selling the S23U for $210 ($650 trade-in value). Are you sure you cannot sell it for more? I really don't get it.
