For those who enter their Citibank card and rewards information, it took (3) full days before this offer worked for me (probably 60 - 70 hours). It did work and I got the 40% off for up to $50. I use the said Citibank card a lot and I'm guessing that impacts the size of the offer.

If you just activated it, you might need to unlink your card, relink it, and wait 3 or more days for it to activate again. I linked mine a few days earlier but only til to day when I checked that I got 40%!woot

I don't use my card at all and had less than 300 points, just enough to meet the minimum requirement =P I think these Amazon credit card promotions are just random. Sometimes I strike gold, most of the time brass.

I got that bird feeder camera that was on SD front page earlier for my mom along with some other gifts. $50 off very nice. Also have it on another account. I just purchased a new weed eater (trimmer) around a week ago. Think Amazon will adjust the price down $50 for me? Or I guess I could just rebuy with the $50 discount and return the old order but a bit of a hassle.

You would need to repurchase and return the other one. Amazon no longer does the price adjustment.

So... I think I lucked out lol I contacted them via live chat and the rep was able to process a partial refund for my order. They ended up refunding $50 off my order. And I think I still have the Citi promotion I can use so big win for me I guess lol

I had "Sorry, you're not eligible for this offer right now" for several days after linking my Citi card to my Amazon account. After a couple days, the offer became available and I only used 125 Citi points ($1) to trigger the discount.
