I bought some of these in 2022, I stopped using them because they are so much worse than eneloops. I tried to use them yesterday for a Christmas decoration and the batteries had lost their charge over a year or 2. Even freshly charged they are weak. Would not recommend.

Capacity is significantly lower than most AA with only 2000 mAh vs 2800 mAh

They still have some use, but I agree they are not very good.

TV remotes, rechargeable mice/keyboard, Xbox controller. That's what I use them on and during Christmas battery powered lights such as wreaths. I have backups ready, so I just recharge them and switch em out as needed.

Those higher capacity AA batteries are usually a few mm thicker and might not be able to fit into some applications (e.g. flashlights where batteries are inserted into a tubular slot).

That's exactly how I use them.

Also remember NiMH gives 1.2V even at full charge and not 1.5V like regular AA batteries. So anything which requires full 1.5V to function optimally would struggle with these. But yeah these are great for remotes, mouse, keyboard, clock etc.- things which don't complaint much
