I just got the credit and can confirm that it applies to products sold by Amazon, not digital content. The name "digital credit" is confusing. It should just be called a promotional credit. I was able to get $30 off of other items sold and shipped by Amazon.

If you want the other colors, this is also available on Costco for just $10 more.

PROS: More colors available- Costco has these in Black, Blue, White, and light Purple. Peace of Mind- You get super-easy returns and an extended warranty. Black and White are available in-store and online. Blue, lilac only available online.

CONS: Cost- $10 more at Costco, No $30 digital credit

Moved to these after my sony wh1000xm3's started acting up and I love them. Super comfortable and the noise cancelling is excellent, if not as dramatic as the xm series.

Sometimes I get a weird popping noise from them while using Duolingo on android. Not sure what that's about.
