In all my years of being a tech enthusiast, I've only had 3 cables die on me. 2 of them were Amazon Basics HDMI cables.

The third was an Amazon Basics optical cable.

I never should have stopped going to monoprice.

I've twice spent an evening debugging why something was working and traced it to one of their hdmi cables. Including one where it worked with a standard blueray player and a nvidia shield outputting 4k but not a 4k br player. That was a fun night.I've gotten rid of all of them, monoprice is my preference too.Never again with these cables, not cheap enough to be worth the trouble.

This isn't certified by HDMI.org, but Amazon Basics does offer other HDMI cables that are certified.

I just bought a 16 ft cable from temu for $6 so this seems to beat their pricing

if you do Amazon Haul there are several 10 foot and even 15 foot deals for 55 cents but you can only do three a week and takes a week or two to show up

Amazon Haul has this 2-pack HDMI 2.1 10-ft cables for $4.54 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08538V513?s=bazaar). Not sure of the reliability or performance, though. Amazon Haul gives free shipping if your order is >$25. I bought three sets of these cables. Hope they work as advertized.
