The width listed in the specifications is only 15 inches. That is including the sides, so the belt is even smaller than that. It's a very narrow walking path.

Apparently it's OK to shrink the size of a human on the treadmill to make the treadmill look much larger?

This walking pad is best suited for under desk walking, with a 4 mph limit and a slight incline that is adjusted by raising the front feet rather than by a motor. The compact format is praised for desk use, and the current price is framed as reasonable for this category. The main drawbacks are the very narrow 15 inch walking path, the short belt for taller walkers, and the lack of a written warranty. Maintenance also comes up, since these pads often need regular belt lubrication.

I bought a similar treadmill in 2021 for $350 and yes that was what they were going for back then. I have had it all these years using daily as my walking desk with about 4 miles a day that I get in. It's shocking just how well it has held up and has been working. The same treadmill is showing as $112 right now and very similar to this one.

This image is a little more realistic in terms of the treadmill's size.

Also love that under "View Full Specifications," it lists "Has written warranty = No."

I don't have this one but have been using a walking pad for my standing desk for a while and they are great. A couple of complaints here for the 15" width, but people are missing the point the main use of the product in that it isn't supposed to be a full treadmill - 5 years ago you would spend 2.5k on a 'premium' walking pad with the same width to fit under a desk that was of a shoddier quality than what this probably is.

The 2.5 HP is fine for a 4mph limit.

This is a wonderful deal and I just picked it up given I'd like to try the slight incline and move my older pad upstairs.

12 bucks for a 3 year protection is also very nice.

These walking pads are basically all the same. They're not quality, and you roll the dice with them. Even if you keep them properly lubricated, they can fail pretty easily. 89 is about what it's worth, and if you get more than a few months of use out of it, then consider it a win. But don't expect something you can run on, and don't expect something that is worth whatever the silly "not marked down" price allegedly is.

Wouldn't the incline make it easier on the motor? The higher the incline the more work that gets done by gravity.
I'd agree with you if the board underneath the belt was low friction, which these hardly ever are... they usually require constant lube/oil on the belt.

Wow! That treadmill is huge! Totally ridiculous. That would not fit through my front door or my sliders!

is there a lot of upkeep with walking pads?
People say you have to oil them?
