This two pack is mainly a cheap way to get two Moto G Play phones, 1,500 minutes, texts, and data, with the real value coming from backup lines, 2FA, or using the phones on Wi Fi. The phones can be activated separately, service can be staggered for up to a year, and existing Tracfone numbers or balances can be transferred during activation. The main drawbacks are the small 1.5GB yearly data allotment, the 2024 model being 4G only, and the unlock wait tied to paid activation. Taxes and coupon reliability also vary, so the final out of pocket can be higher than the headline price.

  • Using Wi‑Fi can prevent the phone from consuming Tracfone data, which makes the 1.5GB annual allotment less limiting for everyday use.

  • The Verizon Value unlock process can automatically unlock eligible Verizon-activated phones after 60 days of paid activation and service.

  • The offer can support a practical setup where one phone is activated first and the second phone is activated later within a year.

  • Service transfers between the two included phones can move the two years of service, and keeping each line active for about 60 days may help ensure unlock eligibility.

  • The unlock timeline can require twelve months of active paid service for many non-Verizon activation scenarios, which delays carrier switching.

  • The 1.5GB per year data allotment can become unusable quickly if cellular speeds reach around 200 Mbps.

  • Combining two active Tracfone lines into one number can be very hard or impossible, making number consolidation difficult.

  • QVC may charge higher sales tax than the local rate, which can raise the out-the-door total price.

The coupon Code: COUPQVC25 doesn't work anymore.

Is there another code that works?

With 200mbps, this 1.5GB data will run out in 1 minute.
So really, why bother.
if you are using wifi data, it doesn't use the tracfone data. unlimited if connected to your home, work or merchant's wifi

QVC sucks by tracking one's credit card, address, email and even browser to monitor the new customer.

I haven't bought anything from from QVC but I have used a 1st time customer coupon code on HSN. Are they the same company and is that why the code doesn't work is the coupon code just expired?

The 2025 5G moto is also a better device. Faster and with more recent android.
And 2025 has esim, which is a lot more useful during travel.

I bought the moto g 2025 64gb for $25 which is better?
Yours will be more future proof than 2024, with another 2 years of OS updates (compared to 0 more for 2024), among other newer features.

Not as high as COUPQVC25, but there is a new 20% off for new customers. A separate 20% off code is available for selected existing users.

HSN and QVC coupon codes work separately. People are starting to report dead coupon code however.

Hey, I need the phone but try to delay the plan activation as late as possible. If I got the package today, I can wait for 1 year to activate it, then it will valid for another year. Is it how it works?
Yes, according to multiple people. Personally I've waited half that time and it still activated.

I'm curious, any reason for the year-long delay? Not prying, just that it would be a lot easier to have your services combined in the beginning, and have the device unlocked earlier in the process.

Curious, if you're using a lower end smartphone like this for back up or to have a 2nd or 3rd line for two factor or for running ads where people call you what is the real trade off not having 5G? I used these phones primarily in the house on wifi, so the minutes issue is never a concern, nor is the data and I'm connected to a 5G router?

Even if you're having a kid or older relative use this to have service, just trying to understand what value is missing that a 5G would provide this doesn't? Not being sarcastic, truly curious why it's a deal breaker for so many?
Very good observation! As a backup phone or for two factor, 5G is not super important. 4G is fast enough in my area. I turn off 5G so that I save on battery on my smartphone. If one watches videos on their smartphone, it'd be important. 5G is not so wonderful as it was once advertised IMHO.

Yes. When activating the new phones, you'll have an option to use an existing number. Put in your current tracfone number, and your new phone will have the old number with combined plan balance. Make sure to take a pic of your current balance beforehand.
when's the last time u combine balance? many say no longer allowed since few months ago

69.98-25=44.98. Also, QVC is charging 10.25% sales tax although I'm in an area with 8.25% tax. All other retailers, online or brick, charge 8.25%. WTH? Actual OTD price is $49.59
this is probably the tax scam they're doing like best buy did. they charge you tax based on the shipping warehouse location. read the following

Tax-sharing agreement
Background: This is a separate issue related to how some California cities have entered into tax-sharing agreements with online retailers like Best Buy.
How it works: In these arrangements, sales tax collected from a purchase is sent to a specific city's jurisdiction. That city then gives a significant portion of the tax revenue back to the retailer, and sometimes to the consultant who arranged the deal.

Uh-oh. Think mine was about 9 months ago. Don't think I saw those reports; could you link or elaborate?
