This is the best dishwasher I've ever had, hands down. This thing cleans anything. I never, NEVER have to prewash even the most horrendously dirty dishes, and everything down to the 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon will be spotless. It's eerily quiet to the point I forget I started it and will accidentally open it while it's running.

This is worth every penny.

add a LG 6.0 cu ft fridge for 389 and get $300 more off, so it ends up $90 for an additional fridge

Echoing others, I have this dishwasher and love it. Delivery, installation, and haul away was great too.
Finally, I bought replacement parts directly from Bosch off their website when needed.

Can confirm this is a great deal.

Bought my house 10 years ago, came with crappy dishwasher and home warranty that sent a repairman out 2 times to fix. When it broke the third time, I said screw it, I'm just gonna buy a quality dishwasher. I paid $1,250 for this 10 years ago. Getting it for that same price today is shockingly good.
The machine is basically silent in operation. The only negative is the lack of actual buttons. In practical use, it is merely an annoyance, but I know that will be the first thing that fails on the unit.

FYI Don't buy Bosch unless you are buying real made in Germany Bosch. If you buy a non-German model with the Bosch label on it (ie any "Bosch" sold in Home Depot or Lowes), it's made by some unrelated factory in China that makes dishwashers for half a dozen brands and is in no way a "Bosch." Just buy a Midea if you are going that route. Lots of brands are playing that game.

Welp needed a dishwasher but the Costco direct + spend and save stack made me get an induction range too at $400 off. Can't complain.

For those not wanting to go hard on a range or another "appliance"... I did find that if you buy the dishwasher you can add a 10 cu ft Frigidaire chest freezer for $100 more. Not bad.

I'm not in rush but I def need to change my dishwasher. I believe it went down to 900 something in February. I'm not sure if I should wait.

Can anyone verify if model numbers ending in UC are made in Germany and model numbers ending in N are made in US (north Carolina) according to google? If so, Costco has a mixture of which the Benchmark are made in us.

I got this unit two years ago and the upper tines are already rusting. It appears that everyone I know have rusty tines. What's up with that? Otherwise, the unit is pretty good. Would be nice to have that auto-open after wash function like a Samsung unit I've seen just to air out the moisture after heating.

The 500 I believe is the only model with auto air (auto open). Crystal dry I assume needs to have the door shut to work properly.

Yes the app is horrible, it might be a third party app, developed and maintained by someone else.

Everyone complain to Bosch directly and leave negative reviews on the app. Lets get the app improved.

For those deciding between the 800 and 500, I ended up with the 500. I found it on sale for about $750. Although the 800 has some nice features, I jumped on the 500. Check local stores, sometimes you have to call or go in, they don't advertise some sales.

Will this work with custom panels? Got a broken thermador that's about 23.75 wide. Thought they were all standard size.

Nvm, custom panel has a different model number.

I currently have a Kitchenaid that is probably 6+ years old. It's stainless steel and I fixed a minor issue with a couple months ago.

I'm on the fence with this because my current dishwasher is considered high-end and has a heating element. I hear some themes with mixed reviews of this dishwasher: odors, no indicator that it is washing, crystal dry (results vary), tight placement with larger items.

I don't know if I should pull the trigger as the Ktichenaid has started to have problems or go with something else.
