100 dollars less than the Acer certified refurb of the same model on eBay. I'm concerned about all the "certified refurbs" of this model flooding the market. The speakers are pretty terrible, lacking bass.

Good question! The eBay refurb has a (pretty useless) two-year Allstate warranty but apparently there's only a one year warranty through Walmart; it's not clear who administers the Walmart warranty program. 90 day free returns. You have to have a paid Walmart+ plan to buy this computer through Early Access.

This is "Restored: Premium," per description ... Like-new condition with minor to no imperfections. Must be professionally inspected, tested, cleaned and, if necessary, refurbished to the condition standard. Comes with a minimum 1-year warranty from manufacturer, manufacturer-authorized, or other qualifying Restored Premium seller or supplier (except select vacuum cleaners where noted on product page).

Where are you seeing that this is Restored Premium?

I checked out this model at bestbuy. The keyboard has way too much flex for my liking. Check it out in person before you buy.

This looks like a great deal. I paid nearly $100 more than this for a 14" with similar but lower specs last night. https://slickdeals.net/f/18897559-hp-omnibook-x-flip-2-in-1-14-3k-oled-120hz-touch-intel-ultra-5-226v-16gb-lpddr5-512gb-ssd-539-99
I do note this Acer does not claim to support HDR which is a bit of a bummer for an OLED display, but it should still look great for media consumption anyway.

The RAM is not upgradeable? Although 16GB is adequate for today, it might not be sufficient in just a few years as Microsoft implements all its AI features. So, my thought is that it's definitely not future-proof.

it's a Acer, so if you have to deal with support for anything, you are going to have a bad time. And since it's a Acer, there is a higher chance you might have to deal with support.

All state warranties are far from useless. I've never had an issue with any of the multiple claims I put in for. I had an ecoflow solar generator stopped charging they said they couldn't fix it and just refunded my full $400 purchase price. Then I bought a refurbished ego snowblower with two $400 batteries one of them wasn't keeping a charge as good as the other and they replaced the $400 battery..

Apparently you can enable HDR on this model through the settings menu though it's not enabled by default. The display also has both 60Hz and 120Hz modes; the 120Hz mode cuts battery life. I've seen nits on this model specified as either 340 or 400 nits; the latter might be with HDR enabled. I've also read that due to the higher contrast of OLED screens it has higher effective peak brightness than LED screens having comparable nits.

I have this. I paid $650 refurb a couple month ago and it's a good machine at that price. Lunar lake, 16", under 3.5 lbs, and cheap.
Now at <$500, it's a no brainer if you are looking for something like this.
