I bought a phone + service combo from QVC and the included card says "If Service Plan and device are purchased at the same time, then you will not receive a service plan PIN. Instead, your PIN will automatically be redeemed when activating the phone."
So seems like they are forcing you to activate the phone on a new line or port-in, they won't give you the raw PIN to redeem on an existing line

Your current balance will carry over and combine with the bundled year of service to your QVC phone. After you verify your balance has updated. Wait a few hours at minimum. Then repeat process with the 2nd phone, verify once again. Finally transfer service back to original phone. Plan will be extended by 2 years with a boost in minutes and sms balance.
