I just bought one, Best Buy has this same tv for same price. Amazon had around week delivery and Best Buy had delivery TODAY.

I have very good experiences with these Insignia TV's in different sizes. 50 inch hdtv for 129 dollars seems like good cyber monday sale, the 55 inch is around 189 dollars. The past few years I picked up a number of 42 inch 4k tv's for 99 dollars. So, 129 seems reasonable, and I checked the reviews and they looked good. Happy Cyber Monday everybody.

We all understand on Slickdeals, most of us have a favorite brand, and size, so ... if it is not a brand or size you want, you don't have to spread HATE, just go to threads that have your Famorite brand and size. Live and let live. There are some brands I don't buy, and I don't go into those threads, because some people love a brand I might not love.

I like these insignia tv's for the bluetooth options, the fire os , the outputs, and other stuff.

Anyone know if it supports 444 chroma in pc mode? Rtings tested what I think is a previous version of the same model, and it did not.

I'm not the guy to ask about that chroma stuff, I hook up all my hdtv's to pc, and just adjust settings to the way I like it, change font size, icons, and adjust stuff so movies, webpages , etc, look good to me. I have heard for years about chroma 444, so I guess obvious don't need it. But you could be doing stuff where you do need it. I remember many years ago, when I told people I use hdtv's for pc monitor, most people thought I was crazy. Today, many people do it. Easier for me to see and adjust font sizes. Maybe someone will give you the correct answer.

That's the lowest price I have seen on a 50 inch. Too bad I don't need it.

I am tempted in getting one to as a monitor. What are the differences between this TV and those $500+ large screen (42"~49") 4k monitors?

I got the $180 TCL Q5 series, but now debating returning for this. Better price on the Insignia, and while it sounds like the TCL is better picture quality, I'm looking to replace an infrequently used bedroom TV for a vacation home, so probably not worth an extra $50. Opinions welcome.

I did look at maybe an hour ago, the difference between the Amazon user reviews and the Best Buy user reviews. Big difference on people reviewing this tv.

The reviews of this tv, the 2025 edition on BESTBUy site only have under 50 reviews and only 1 reviewer gave it 1 star, 1 gave it 2 stars and the rest gave 95 percent 5 star reviews on BEST BUYS site, Amazon had a lot more 1 star reviews compared to Best Buy, some of the amazon problems were for for shipping stuff like cracked screen stuff, ... normal for Amazon.

In either case I will be getting this tv in just a few hours, I see the tracking and where the car is in real time.

Generally if something hangs up with Insignia device, I update the tv, and unplug it for 30 seconds and that fixes the problem, I have 8-10 of these insignia's in different sizes, they all work for me . I did have one 65 inch 4k Insignia screen crack, doing hurricane around a year go, I left the window in living room a little open, and TV fell off the table and cracked. Only problem I had with Insignia tv's, and that was my problem it fell, I didn't even get upset about it, or blame myself. It was nice tv,

I picked up a 58 inch 4k from walmart during the summer... I thought it was fire tv ... but it was roku hdtv ... , and it works fine, BUT I like fire tv's much better compared to roku.
