I have the drill and impact m12 fuel... should I get the m12 multi tool and just stick to m12? This is for home projects and trying to convert electrical tools to battery operated slowly
slowly
Is there a deal on the m12 fuel multi tool today?

Great deal on this M18 Fuel Multi tool. Bare tool at HD is currently @ $250, so this price with a battery is mint!
For context, I'm a contractor that goes through multiple tools per year due to heavy usage (from exterior to interior work). This multi tool for everyday usage has been our go to. We do have higher quality multi tools (Festool) for our finish work, but this Milwaukee is the work bee.
Can't say enough good things about it! Grab one and enjoy ......

I have a combination of both M12 and M18. Also a bunch of Ryobi since that was what my budget allowed me to purchase 18 years ago when we purchased our first home. If your budget allows and if you will be doing heavy home DIY, I'd go with the M18 line but since you've already started with M12, I'd stick with it until it's no longer able to do the work you need it for. My Ryobi still has a purpose when we go camping. Most of the time, I grab my M12 when I'm doing home DIY, much lighter and easily gets into tighter spaces. Hope that helps. Good luck.

I just picked up the non-fuel version of this kit for $89 at HD. I usually go with the fuel line, but couldn't pass up the price on that. Also have a kitchen renovation happening to so it will be put to good use.

Both the m12 and m18 fuel have anti vibration tech in them. Much nicer to have unless you only use a few times a year.

Not today but there will always be a deal for the tool you want at HD if you're patient.

I heard the M12 is just as good as the M18 at a smaller form factor.

I prefer m12 for multi tools. These things are great for light and precise work. A heavier battery levered off the back is unhelpful for what I use these for.

All I will say about the m12 is, make sure you get the fuel version. The regular m12 isn't good at all. Vibrates way too much.
