I actually have the 2nd Gen, ignore recommendation.

Been using these for 2 or so years outside doing landscaping and irrigation work. Noise canceling is great even when the machine is running. Battery life is great even with ANC on. They've survived lots of water and sweat. No connection issues. Charging case had problems charging the right side for a while, but I slightly bent the charging prong and fixed all issues.

Highly recommend

These sound awesome but aren't built to last. Touch controls stopped working on mine and now it randomly changes modes. Only a 1 year warranty. I'm not a heavy user either.

I have the Quiet Comfort (Gen 2) and for me they have been a great set of earbuds. Used them for hours running, mowing the lawn, among other activities. Great buy in my opinion. Can't speak for any differences with the Ultra but they look very similar.

Agree on 1st Gen as no-good... Had to return twice for poor mic performance. Pucked up kore background noise. Was not good for calls, but great sound and best ANC hands down... Owned the QC, QC-Ultra, Sony XM5 and finally settled on Technics... Teams calls and call performance was my major criteria.

happened to my 1st gen Bose QC Ultras after couple years, what a waste of money
