For someone with flat feet where high arches in soles kill my feet, these are actually really nice for the price. Are there better shoes? Yes but they are $100+. These have flat soles so you can use them like they come or choose your own support to slip in the shoe. I would say to order a size higher if your feet are flat/wide especially if you plan to put in some arch support.
These are strictly casual shoes and not meant for a ton of walking and definitely not running/sports. I wear these when going on errands or when going out to a bar or casual restaurant.
If I only get a year or 2 max out of these it's well worth $20.
