They are ok for the most part. Their Active Mesh ones seem to breathe better but can pill on the front that brushes against your front jeans pockets.

I prefer the active mesh overall but also own these cool actives and they do feel good. They do seem a smidge tighter when it comes to cupping the family jewels.

I've always liked them. Yes, it's polyester but I find them comfortable and lightweight so that they don't feel constricting when they happen to ride up a bit. I bought these last year with a sale and they were also $3-4, so it's the same deal they run.

+1 the mesh ones are substantially better. I would size up too.

They last forever too. Many of mine are pushing 5+ years and they look new.
