I think that's probably underselling it a bit, dude. The GPU in this is at least twice as powerful as the one in the PS5. And progression has been slowing down ever since the PS4.

I would grab the Legion equivalent and pay more. Aorus laptops feel cheap or at least the few I've owned. They are flexible where you don't want them to flex.

Check out the moore's law is dead leaks. 2.5-3x the PS5 perf. That's 5080-5090 desktop perf. 5090 laptop is about 5070 desktop or 1.8x PS5. Soooo... not quite there. Depending on his last rig, might not be worth it.

You aren't doing 4K on a laptop so between that and DLSS you are still going to be fine, imho. Unless you need to be playing at 120+ FPS.
