This Legion 5 Gen 10 stands out as a thin, light 15.1 inch OLED gaming laptop with 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an RTX 5060. The Ryzen AI 7 350 is framed as the efficiency choice, with better battery life for browsing, video, and other light use, while the 5060 and 32GB memory suit heavier workloads. Cashback and promo stacking can cut the price sharply, with some totals landing near $850 to $980. The main tradeoff is 8GB VRAM, and nearby RTX 5070 options are close in price but usually drop to 16GB RAM.

  • Lenovo cashback and stacked promos can reportedly bring the laptop price down to around $1000 or even about $850 with additional PayPal offers.

    LivelyStag565HonestCatfish871

  • The 32GB RAM with the RTX 5060 configuration can better fit workloads that cannot run comfortably on 16GB RAM.

    Chevyguy85LivelyStag565

  • The Ryzen AI 7 350 configuration can prioritize efficiency and battery life for browsing and video playback while plugged-in performance remains available.

    LivelyStag565LivelyStag565

  • The Gen 10 chassis reportedly runs thinner and lighter than the older Costco model, which uses a larger and much thicker build.

    LivelyStag565

  • The RTX 5070 option can cost only slightly more but may require accepting 16GB RAM instead of 32GB.

    BrassGolemChevyguy85

  • CPU performance claims versus the Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX can be disputed because the compared chips may belong to different classes.

    userdealChevyguy85

  • PayPal Pay Later reportedly may fail to apply for some buyers, which can prevent the lowest advertised checkout price.

    LivelyStag565

  • The RTX 5060 and related comparisons can be limited by 8GB VRAM, which may affect GPU-heavy workloads.

NOTE: There's a lot of additional cashback to be found at Lenovo which will bring down the price to ~$1000 or so.

I personally bought this laptop for about $980 (including student discounts and additional cashback). My tax is also mostly eliminated because I have the credit card cashbacks.

Edit: You could also use the PayPal Pay Later 20% offer to get the price even lower. I couldn't because of PayPal being shitty.

Yep, I didn't even account for PayPal. That would get it EVEN lower. That's a steal for this config. Walmart deal is so bad relatively, even without PayPal.

Not sure why people downvote when you talk about cashback, even when the 15% is accessible by everyone.

I think this is important to mention too. I'm pretty sure I looked at PSREF for the Costco model and it uses the older chassis, which is larger and much thicker and heavier and comes in Luna Grey color.

One of the best things about Gen 10 is how much thinner and lighter it is.

This seems like a better buy with a 5070 for only $100 more, no?

I'm not going to question it, but LENOVOHOLIDEAL just took off $75 instead of 50.

5070 with 16GB system ram vs 5060 with 32GB system ram. At least that's what I see by using the nifty compare feature on the site. Everything else looks identical.

This 5070 is actually only $15 more:

You need to apply BFGAMER25 and LENOVOHOLIDEAL. Less RAM, but it's 5070 vs 5060.

This and the one I posted were what I had in my cart but the 5060 is what I purchased. Me personally, I absolutely cannot survive with 16GB RAM. It's impossible for my workload. And the RAM prices are crazy right now and I'm not even sure when they'll go back to normal. I could be wrong but I think I've seen that the 5070 isn't that much better than the 5060. It would be different if it's the 5070 Ti but it's not. I'll gladly take a full power 5060 with 32GB RAM over a 5070 16GB any day. It's enough for my needs.

Thanks! Is it worth it to go with 5070 16g or intel ultra for similar price?
