I was able to buy 2 watches with only one phone line on the account. I did order the second watch right after I activated the first one when it was marked as shipped
Gonna see if I can snag more tablets
You can add a new line / Bring your own device with eSIM Sign up for cheapest plan $25Then sign up for the watch line for $40.I did the same thing for the Samsung A9+ Tablet promo they do periodically (free tablet, $20 line charge) And if you feel like splurging you can pay $65 for their highest plan to get a free phone that unlocks in year.Put that idea on steroids, for $125 here's the cheapest/best budget Samsung Gear at metro ->Samsung Galaxy A36 - $65Samsung A9+ Tablet - $20Samsung watch 7 - $40
Don't have to be with Metro for 30 days to add this watch promo to your line. At least not for online orders.Does require being on the highest $65/month phone plan.
I did the same thing last year with a phone. It was the last day of the 30 day plan and I ordered another phone (like the 3rd or 4th for that month). The phone arrived a couple of days after the plan had expired. The problem is/was, since I never activated the phone on my metro plan, it never unlocked after a year. I spent so much time chatting, being on the phone and going to two metro stores talking to customer service trying to get them to unlock the phone, but no one would do it. It's now been over 14 months since the phone was ordered, but it still won't unlock and no one at Metro will do anything about it. Will probably just try to sell it on eBay.
Wow I had very similar issue with the tablet; too lazy and postponed then it never unlocked because it asked for an active account but they already decativated the account and it stayed like that.
I have non-lte version, only wifi, but want to switch to lte version.
Hi all, just want to share my experience, hopefully it will help someone. I ordered a Razr 2024 for $65 (different Metro deal) over 30 days ago and also ordered a Moto Stylus 2025 shortly after for $35 (since the Razr has been out of stock). For the first order of the phone, you need to wait until it arrives since you need to be able to receive the security code by text to log into your account. So no need to activate the first phone early. For subsequent orders, I was able to activate the phone (or watch) after getting the shipping email. But I didn't use the "Activate Service" link from the email. I used the order status page here: https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/order-status
After entering your order number, last name, and billing zip code, there will be a button to activate the device. Once activated, you can go ahead and order another device before receiving the just activated device. For this watch deal, my account was already past 30 days so I requested the one time 72 hour extension online and was able to order a watch #1 linked to phone #1 for the $40 price. I just got the shipping email today for watch #1 and activated it using the method above. I was able to order a second watch #2 linked to phone #2 before watch #1 arrives.
Damn…this was the exact question I had a few days ago!
Thank you very much for posting this. I know it probably helped someone else.
I wanted to order another device but I ran out of time after the 30 days post-Razr2024. I also was going to get the Stylus 2025 but I figured the watch was more useful. Now im unsure if I even need to activate the watch since I just want to use it alone and don't care if it has a cellular signal.
My watch arrived yesterday. I was able to get it paired to an S25 Ultra (not on Metro) and everything works great.
I sideloaded VLC and already loaded a bunch of comedy clip videos onto it to share with people at random times haha
Ive been out of the Smartwatch game since GWS3 Frontier…and this is a huge leap! Huge memory, no lag, really nice screen. Wish it had the rotating bezel, but its still super nice regardless. The functionality of the new OS is amazing compared to how locked-down Tyzen used to be.
I swapped out the silicone band for an older gold metal band and already got some compliments on it, haha

The BYOD $25 plan will actually be $30 for the first month. I was able to get a Samsung A15 5G free with their $40/mo plan (which is $40 for first month too) and then get a few of those A9+ tablets for $20. So between the BYOD and $40 plan it is only $10 difference plus you get a new Samsung phone though locked for a year.
Does watch line influences on how many phones i can buy? Last time was able to buy 2 iphones 11 and 12 plus samsung tablet before orders stopped passing through. So now just got my fist iphone 16e and thinking what to order first another 16e which i need or watch (before they are out of stock)
You were able to order "12" Samsung tablets under the same account plus 2 phones? How did you manage that with their system of flagging orders to same address?
I am not the Metro customer till now.
In future if I need to avail such deal, which month is good time to join Metro?
Also, if join Metro using BYOD, they will not lock my mobile on their network for 1 year.. is that correct understanding?
Because in future, i will join them using my owned mobile, and will try to get such Samsung watch or Tablet offer, but i don't want them to lock my phone on their network for 1 year.
If we sign up to this BYOD/$25 plan are we able to order a tablet right away once we have the line active on our phone and eSIM working? Since if you order a phone/plan then we need to wait until it is shipped/activated so that you can get the pin they send you to log into your account. This way you I guess works right away and you can order the same day you get the BYOD plan.
Any idea how to activate the watch LTE?
I have a metro iphone and looks like you can't even pair with the watch.
I do have an android phone but its not metro so I can pair with the watch but adding mobile plan to the watch is not working.

Dammit! I took someone's suggestion to try to maximize options, ordered a (free) phone (with paid plan) but couldn't activate account and order watch until phone came (today), now watch is $100 (not $30). Shoulda done the BYOD option

Put that idea on steroids, for $125 here's the cheapest/best budget Samsung Gear at metro ->
Samsung Galaxy A36 - $65
Samsung A9+ Tablet - $20
Samsung watch 7 - $40
