I did the same thing for the Samsung A9+ Tablet promo they do periodically (free tablet, $20 line charge)
And if you feel like splurging you can pay $65 for their highest plan to get a free phone that unlocks in year.
Put that idea on steroids, for $125 here's the cheapest/best budget Samsung Gear at metro ->

I don't know if they require you to have a cell line attached to the watch line as well, or if it's allowed as a standalone line.
I'd say based off your experience, being able to order 3 tablets with just one cell line - it seems like they want/are in need of adding lines?
