Intel cards have always been ass. Don't do it.
The bottom AMD and Nvidia models being sold today are even worse.

Without the proper context, you might be right. But you don't seem to know what you're taking about here.

There is a thing called price-to-performance ratio, and the B580 is king in its category if you have resizable BAR and an OK CPU.

Yeah only if Intel software wasn't so awful might be worth getting!

Again... in this price/performance bracket, the B580 is a very good GPU if you have resizable BAR and an OK CPU.

How many months? 2? You must have been one of the lucky few farther back to snatch one before it went OOO.
It was in stock for a while before I finally bit on the B580. And fun fact, I've been watching the GPU market for a while cuz I needed the GPU for my racing sim rig but also need a new one for my HTPC and the B580 has been consistently in stock. Maybe you need to check more than one site? B&H has had them for as low as 235 free shipping...best buy has had this one and the intel one consistently in stock and price match...Micro Center has had them en masse... Idk what to tell you and you may not want to believe it, but these B580's have been consistently in stock for a while at or below 250.

I believe you, but you still haven't defined "months" and "a while". How long actually?

I told you I got my B580 in September. There's a definition right there...
Intel figured out their supply issue in what, July-ish? It's been at least 4 months since they flooded the market with these and did their initial gamer days promotion and you can see inventory trackers showing them readily in stock since mid June. Google is your friend.

Fair enough... You're the one tracking it, so I defer to you. My question was about how long you had seen it in stock continually for before you actually bought it. But it doesn't matter. I'm glad you got one, and I hope it serves you well.

PS: I apologize for doubting you.

No need to apologize for a lively debate, it's all good... but let's be honest there's no way I'd be able to give you time frames like that.

Checked comments, disappointed that no one mentioned the core clock.

I thought the B7xxx was dead for sure at this point! Dude, are they actually, truly going to release a B770? I might cry.
