Definitely worth for Nine Sols alone (since that's the only one I played) if you like the genre.

Nine Sols is amazing. Difficult metroidvania, but masterfully done.

Only game on this list that I've played is Streets of Rage 4 and it is a fantastic beat em up. The combo system is deeper than realized in my first playthrough. I certainly wouldn't mind adding SoR4 to my steam list as I played it through Game Pass before. I'll probably be picking up this month's choice.

Can someone help explain how this works? I have bought stand alone bundles before, it if I sign up for the choice program for only one month and then cancel, do I get to keep these game or are they only accessible why I have a paid subscription? I want non sols. I'd preferably like to only pay one month but not have to stress about playing through the game before the month is done.

Apparently you keep the games. Follow-up question: do they tell you before the next month what the next benefit is going to be? So I can evaluate if I want to continue the subscription? Or is it a roll of the dice?

You have until the last week of the month to decline or accept the bundle. If you decline, the only thing impacted is your store discount. It stacks for every ACTIVE month, and resets to 10% off if you pause a month. Imo, not consequential, but worth mentioning.

You are given the appropriate keys for the platform (usually Steam) and you add those to your account. You keep the games permanently and can play them whenever you want. $15 gets you ALL the games, whether you want them or not. You can choose to redeem the keys to your own account or just gift them to other people. Humble doesn't care.

You find out what that month's Choice games are on the first Tuesday of the month. You have until the last Tuesday of the month to decide if you want to keep the subscription or pause for one month. Note that if you select any games for any month, you are immediately billed for the month.

I have an active subscription, but I pause mine quite often as I tend to already own the games for that month.

This month is an absolute banger though and I will likely keep it, despite owning all the heavy hitters (SoR4, Nine Sols), planning on gifting the duplicates to my brother.

They're is one scenario where pausing your subscription could be problematic. There's games in the humble library that are only accessible while your subscription is active. I don't typically play those, but maybe once installed you can keep playing them? I also pause my subscription most months.
