These do have a little extra depth that most tennis/running shoes which "makes" you taller while wearing them. Most comfortable shoes I have worn ever.

The actual new balance site had great deals over the weekend on these too with more variety and sizes. That might be finished now though. But great shoe. Been wearing the v14 for months

I ran the v13s for an entire year about 500 mi and the good thing about it is once I got through the 500 miles. Just had to move on last week to a new pair of shoes. They're simple enough stylictically that I wear them to work as casual shoes. And yes, super padded and super comfy. I bought my pair around this time last year for $83.

Just an FYI. I have a couple of them at home and have been testing them within the return window. They feel really cushy, but I will be returning mine as they are just too soft, which tires my foot way quicker than slightly firmer shoes.

If you can go to a new balance factory store I was able to buy 2 for $150. They were $100 each but they were buy one get 50% off. Definitely have to get used to them but they're very comfortable.
