This is a great deal! Like you said the AI sub will pay for the machine....

The Acer spin series is very popular in K12... if you want to look at other options. Acer probably has the best reputation in public schools.

Google AI subscription 2TB is $9.99 /month if you pay via your verizon account (mobile or fios). Just FYI. I don't need the laptop but i have the subscription. You can find it on slickdeals also.

Last year the Acer deal at Costco came with a 512GB SSD and was very briefly available for $150. This is still a good deal though.

The newer version is for 250 right now, I bought it, but having issues redeeming any promo codes, including gemini for 1 year. Reviews on that one also state the same thing.
So beware that these acer/asus chromebooks might be a dud for code redemption.

That $150 deal was after using a $50 Google perks coupon code for use on Costco.com that could be obtained from old Chromebooks, right? It doesn't seem like there is any similar coupon available this year.

Yes, there was that additional code. And for the Google One with Gemini promo it helps to logout of any other Chromebooks you are logged into. Otherwise the offer might not appear.
