I love gold, but this post is not very good. You can do this at Costco any day and all day. And with better gold, although they haven't had any gov minted coins lately.

Good to know when these come in stock, so thanks for that. But posting the price after a CC perk is a little silly. Do we need to adjust the price for everything on slick deals to reflect an individuals credit card cash back? Make everything sound a little slicker

No, but a lot of Costco members get 4% cash back and these are usually purchased as an investment. When you get an investment at a discount, it's a little different than buying Keebler cookies for 50 cents off

I definitely see your point, but I think it's probably worth pointing out since Costco is the only place I'm aware of that doesn't charge a fee for buying precious metals with a credit card, and because so many Costco members have the Executive Card and credit card, which makes buying from them the lowest price if you want to use a credit card.

Does anyone know if a Venture X credit card can be used to buy gold from Costco? And if the purchase will count toward the credit card signup spend requirement of $10K?

It certainly can if it's a Visa. Costco does not accept MasterCard.

I can't speak specifically about Venture X card, but I used my new VISA card to buy gold bars on Costco and it counted toward the signup spend requirement. That was a few months ago.
