Is it safe to use? Like, not going to burn you high priced device?

I'm embarrassed to say that I couldn't figure out how to apply the promo code until I hit the little arrow facing right. Thank you.

Becareful folks, the cheap transformers can blow your device. Not from this device, but a table lamp that has USBs blew up 2 of my phones. It was too late by the time I realized the table lamp was the rootcause for causing my phones to blow up.

True

"Product worked great for the first few days I had it until it sparked while plugged into my laptop and now my laptop no longer works. It was in perfect working condition prior to the use of this charger. It keeps popping this same error message EVERY TIME I try to log in. I have no way other than this to get in contact with the seller other than leaving a public review. Buyers beware!! Hope to get this issue resolved!!!"

Like i mentioned in the other thread for the same product - this rating seems fake as their own max output shows that the max it can do is 20.5V at 4.7A ; That's = 96W.
There is no way it can do 118W based on their own specs.

Crazy how many house fires I hear about from fly-by-night charger companies (brother-in-law lost his recently).

I'm surprised Amazon has managed to skirt any sort of accountability given the number of fly-by-night charger companies they are happy to sell products from. They definitely need to add some sort of full audit of UL/CSA/CE certifications before listing a product in this category and perform ongoing spot tests w. confiscation penalties and/or bonds on file in case companies are either selling fakes or under-specced units, but I guess Bezos wants another yacht.
